Optimism: Belief that things can change, openness to new ideas, avoidance of fear-based decisionmaking
Quality: As good as or better than state of the art, thoughtfulness
Abundance: Availability of every possible option, freedom of choice
Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs (and similar) still can apply as prerequisites. The needs above can be thought of as a version of Maslow's Self-Actualization.

ReplyDeletePerhaps POQAs don't require hierarchical placement but can motivate actions ongoing , and in concert with each other, from time to time. I read that Maslow didn't insert his motivators into a pyramid shape. That was the work of subsequent writers. I like to consider that all needs can become motivators again and again, as circumstances change. For example, we don't have to stop dealing with our need for safety when we move on to act on our need for esteem.
